My goal is to understand how geochemistry regulates ecosystem processes in terrestrial environments. My work has focused on redox-sensitive metals (Fe and Mn) and their interactions with carbon and nutrient cycling. This research has spanned environments that include temperate forests, arctic tundra, coal mine waste, and stream networks.      CVCurriculum vitae
